Meow! Purr, purr, purr. Hi, my name is Serena, and Im a calm and friendly female Tuxedo kitty. I was born in October of 2006.

A family adopted me from the Dallas Animal Shelter in 2006 as a kitten, then they dumped me a few years later outside the same shelter, hungry and scared. I was so elated when a kind volunteer from Animal Allies of Texas noticed how affectionate I was at the shelter, and took me home to foster me. I dont mind being picked up and I am not overly demanding. When my foster mom is watching TV, I enjoy sitting right next to her or resting on her lap. I still love to play with string and toys. And, I especially love climbing into the laundry basket and taking a nap, or climbing high atop my kitty condo and surveying the landscape!

I live with multiple kittens and cats, and I get along with all of them. My foster mom thinks that I would be happy either as an only kitty or in a multiple cat home. I would do best in a quiet home with adults or older children, and I would make a terrific companion cat for that special someone who wants a devoted lap kitty.

Although I love my foster family and the cats in it, I dream of having a forever home of very own. I cross my kitty heart to give you 100 percent of my love and affection if you promise to love me and keep me for the rest of my nine lives. Are you that special family that Im looking for?
